Q. Good day, Eli! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as abnormal and exotic.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist?
A. If any song from my discography defines me, it’s definitely my track called “ALIEN!” That song embodies the way I feel every day and was just a great memory to make.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I had the opportunity to collab with any artist, it would have to be Lil Uzi Vert. He’s been my favorite artist forever.
Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken with all of this had to be moving to California for a bit and leaving everything behind to pursue what I love, but overall I’d say it was worth it.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want them to know that I am not a regular artist. I do not want to fit in and feel like everyone else. I want to do what other people aren’t doing and bring others joy with all of this.
