Q. Good day, Zayzo! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What first attracted you to music?
A. Even lying is impossible for me, and as ridiculous as it may sound, primary school music classes. I fell in love with playing the recorder and the piano, and ultimately these small activities blossomed into bigger concepts like band class and free music software, which is where I am now. I honestly don't know what made me decide to pursue music, but it was a natural love of mine.
Q. How would you characterize the music you generally produce?
A. Ambient. I haven't really heard many individuals with a sound like mine, therefore I feel like it's a unique sound. My music is made up of a variety of noises blended together to create a single noise dubbed "my music."
Q. What would you be doing today if your musical career hadn't taken off?
A. I was an athlete before I started music. To be honest, I'm not a student athlete, so I'm not sure what I could have done. Sincerely, I believe that if I had continued doing some of the things I was doing and hanging out with the wrong crowd, I would have been in a lot more trouble than I am today.
Q. What is the one piece of advice you would give to your supporters?
A. Follow. You're Fucking. Dreams. I can't emphasize this enough, so if you have a dream, follow it. Only you have the power to determine what you are capable of. Try something new, stand out, and don't be afraid to take a chance if it would make you happy.
