Rapper Wazo Dàveed highlights his career as an artist inside of an interview

Q. Good morning, Wazo Dàveed! We value the time you have taken to chat with us. What first drew you to music is the first thing we want to know.

A. I started off by engaging in modern art, working in art galleries, and starting my own art collective because I wanted more for myself and could see how others viewed me as a leader. I was able to communicate with other artists in the collective and learn how to record through that. I aimed to have a positive impact on the world and share my experience. After people started attending my gigs, I realized that music could heal me, and I started to fall in love with performing

Q. What successes do you envision yourself making in the upcoming five to ten years??

A. I'll be among the most well-known artists that have ever lived in ten years. To help transform the world, my ultimate ambition is to construct several hospitals, schools, and research facilities. I picture myself embarking on one of the largest international tours ever. I am the next Michael Jackson, I'm sure of it. With Heavenly Hills, I imagine myself running my own label and providing possibilities for other artists. I'm confident that I'll win numerous Grammys and social justice awards in ten years. I envision myself collaborating with other global leaders to promote art and education in developing nations.

Q. What qualities do you think characterize you as a great musician?

A. I had a really diverse upbringing and I have many different cultural flows. More importantly, I want to share my story with the world. And my live performances are great; I think that they set me apart from everyone. People who hear my music are healed and motivated to pursue their passions. That music makes me think I'm a great musician.
