Q. Good day, Kash Kkanii! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. I began making music because I felt like I had always lived a certain lifestyle and had never even considered sharing my narrative or even telling anyone anything personal about myself. For me, music serves as both therapy and a platform for showcasing my personal style. I always knew I was a star, but I never really knew my lane because I was always the cool, fly guy with girls and all the things successful people have. Because of this, I use music as a way to help people who are similar to me or kids who grew up similarly, or even to help a dude dress if that's what he needs. I'm not like any other rapper because I do and say whatever I want.'
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. I'm from New Orleans, but I've been in Atlanta for a while, and I'm well connected. I have a lot of acquaintances who have already achieved success and had deals and everything like that, so it motivates me. If I had to name my influences, they would be people like my partner. Boog, NenoCalvin, BenjiBlueBills, SoIcyJordan, and Lucki.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My best highlight I have achieved in the music industry is a song I have with the musical artist Playboi Carti that has received over a million streams.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. I envision myself at the top of the music and apparel industries in five years because I know I have a huge impact on so many people in so many different ways.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. Life never stops, no matter where you are or what you have experienced, so keep working hard and staying consistent in whatever you do.
