A. I've been immersed in music for as far back as my memory serves, but it was my father who really encouraged me to delve into the production side of things. I was incredibly enthusiastic about making music, even though I hadn't grasped the fundamentals yet. My natural ear for music played a significant role, and it all came down to honing my creative process through practice. It wasn't an overnight transformation, but gradually, I learned how to create music while experimenting along the way. I discovered that a big part of music-making involves trying out new things and building upon spontaneous ideas. Embracing the fact that not everything will be perfect marked the beginning of my passion for this art.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. Ever since I was a kid, music has been an integral part of my life, surrounding me with various genres. Among them, jazz, rap, underground, and ambient have resonated with me the most, becoming my favorites. Immersing myself in the diverse timbre of these styles deeply influenced me to search for my unique voice and artistic expression. Along my musical journey, I found inspiration in a multitude of artists, including yeat, Kendrick Lamar, Smino, XXXTentacion, Duwap Kaine, JID, Young Nudy, J. Cole, Playboi Carti, J Dilla, Juice WRLD, Kankan, Pi’erre Bourne, and many others. Each of them played a vital role in guiding me toward sounds that would ignite my creativity and assist me in crafting my own original music.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. Having achieved over 21k plays across all platforms and establishing a reputation within my local community, I feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment. Creating music that resonates with people and witnessing their enjoyment brings me immense joy. It's truly rewarding to see that my dedication and hard work are paying off, and knowing that my passion is being appreciated by others is the greatest feeling of all.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. Being able to support myself through various income streams and collaborating with a team of like-minded creators has been a dream come true. It has allowed me to pursue my passion for music wholeheartedly. Looking ahead, my ultimate goal is to achieve significant success in the music industry, allowing me to travel and create new experiences with my family and friends. The idea of sharing these moments with my loved ones while doing what I love fills me with excitement and motivation to keep pushing forward on this journey.

A. I firmly believe in never giving up on our dreams and remaining authentic to ourselves. Even during challenging times, it's essential to maintain a positive outlook and keep pushing forward. No matter what obstacles come our way, we must persevere and stay true to our aspirations. It's crucial not to let others dictate what we can or cannot achieve because, ultimately, we hold the power to shape our own future.
