Q. Good day, Wydcooper! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I have always had a deep passion for creating music, and it has always given me the freedom to express myself and enjoy doing what I love. I embarked on my musical journey back in 2019, drawing inspiration from the artists I admired and listened to. My initial release came in 2020, but as time went on, I recognized that I had the potential to achieve much greater things. I made the decision to let go of all my previous work and completely rebrand my music page. I dedicated myself to producing higher quality music and transforming my style, approaching it with a newfound level of seriousness and commitment.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. There are several individuals in my life who have a significant influence on my music. One of them is my close friend NoTo, who, like me, is an underground artist. Additionally, artists such as Rich Amiri, Yeat, and Sofaygo have captured my attention and become my current sources of inspiration. I admire their work and aspire to achieve similar success in my own music career. Witnessing their rise to prominence and observing how they are able to perform shows and earn a living doing what they love fuels my determination to pursue the same path.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. Without a doubt, the most significant milestone in my career thus far would have to be the opportunity to collaborate on a full album with my friend. We dedicated several months to its creation, putting together a collection of freestyle and hardcore beats. The entire process, from working on the album to finally releasing it, has been the highlight of my career. The sense of accomplishment and fulfillment it brought me is unparalleled.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I envision myself embarking on a global journey, traveling to various locations to perform electrifying shows for my fans around the world. During this time, I also foresee collaborating with some of my favorite individuals in the music industry, bringing our collective creative visions to life. As the years pass, I anticipate substantial personal growth, both as an artist and as an individual, as I continue to refine my craft and expand my musical horizons. Ultimately, my goal is to ascend to greater heights, becoming a prominent artist and living a life free from the burdens of stress, solely dedicated to pursuing my passion and doing what I love most - creating music.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. One message I strongly believe in is the importance of not allowing others to dictate who you should be or what you should do. Your life is uniquely yours, and you have the power to shape it according to your own desires and aspirations. Embrace the fact that you only have one life to live, and make the most of it by following your own path and living it in a way that brings you joy and fulfillment. Don't let societal expectations or the opinions of others overshadow your own dreams and ambitions. Remember, you are the author of your own story, so seize the opportunity to live it on your own terms.
