Interview With XOSTARKEY: Riding The Soundwaves of Innovation

Q. Good day, XOSTARKEY! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?

A. I've dedicated my entire existence to creating music. Music has been a cherished passion in my family, and I discovered that I possess an inherent aptitude for it. Starting to play the guitar and piano during my early years eventually evolved into crafting beats, then into composing lyrics and independently producing complete tracks.

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. Kurt Cobain stands as a significant source of inspiration for me. Upon my initial encounter with Nirvana, I acknowledged their talent, yet didn't entirely connect with their music. However, delving into interviews and documentaries featuring Kurt Cobain, I came to a profound realization—I share an astonishing resonance with him in every aspect. His thought process, demeanor, and communication style struck a chord with me. Interestingly, during a period marked by extensive LSD use, I found myself convinced that I embodied the reincarnated essence of Kurt Cobain.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. The pinnacle of my career thus far undoubtedly revolves around the release of the Bereft Tape. Immense effort was poured into its creation—crafting beats, penning lyrics, and meticulously producing each track single-handedly. This endeavor also acted as a compass, steering me towards the sonic landscape I intend to explore in my upcoming ventures. Although the reception upon its release didn't match my lofty expectations, I'm appreciative for the opportunity to share my innermost thoughts, emotions, and creative concepts with the world.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. In the span of five years, I envision two potential scenarios for myself: embarking on a global tour alongside renowned artists, delivering an unforgettable experience to the audience, or finding tranquility six feet beneath the ground. From the moment I commenced my musical journey, it became clear that this path was fate's sole selection for me. Should I not find myself on tour within that timeframe, the alternative prospects remain uncertain, and I'm left wondering about the course my life might take.

Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?

A. Reject the notion of conforming to a conventional nine-to-five job, the repetitive cycle of schooling, graduating, and toiling tirelessly for what seems like an empty cause. Break free from the confines of societal norms, liberate your essence, and embrace the boundless possibilities that lie before you. The world is your canvas, allowing you to paint your own destiny without limitations.
