Q. Good day, Lil Marka! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I quit football in 2018 due to injuries and a lack of motivation. My friends and I started making music just for fun, and that gradually turned into me taking it seriously in 2021.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My biggest influences are Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Drake, Eminem, and a Norwegian rapper named Kamelen. They’ve all played a significant role in shaping my musical style.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My song “Lost In The Moment” gaining traction and getting a cosign from Futuristic have been my biggest highlights.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In 5 years, I envision and hope to be a mainstream artist.
