Interview With KingDez’s: An Exploration of Musical Dimensions

Q. Good day, KingDez! we appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?

A. I got into making music by going through my depression for 15 years. During that time, I found myself writing lyrics in my notes about how I was feeling, what I was going through, my desires, and my potential.

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. As for my musical influences, they encompass R&B, hip-hop, pop, and gospel. These genres helped me cope with life and provided a natural outlet for my experiences. I aim to use my music to motivate and cater to others’ needs, whether it’s about love, dreams, motivation, money, women, the streets, or gospel. I want to provide inspiration to others.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. My biggest career highlight so far has been the love and recognition I’ve received for my music, talents, and work. It’s a significant achievement for me as someone from Inkster, Michigan, who was often underestimated and doubted. Inspiring others and showing them that they can believe in themselves and make their mark is incredibly fulfilling.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. Looking ahead to the next five years, I envision myself having moved my family out of our challenging circumstances, living comfortably, and stress-free. I hope to have been on a few tours, possibly my first one. My daughter’s future should be secure, and I aim to be happily married, building generational wealth, and giving back to my community to improve the lives of kids, teens, and adults.

Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?

A. To all my fans and supporters, my message is clear: You have only one life, so don’t be afraid to pursue your dreams. Whether or not others believe in you, believe in yourself, stay focused, and perfect your craft. There will be tough times, but that’s when you need to push harder. In the end, your hard work will pay off, and you’ll experience a much better life because you know you put in the effort with everything you had.
