Q. Hello FMK Mikey and XKQ! Thanks for chatting with us. To kick things off, we're curious to learn about your journey into the music scene. How did you both get started in making music?
A. Mikey - I’ve had a passion for music for the longest time. My dad, a rapper, even had me on his songs. Back in 2020, I shared my musical aspirations with my then-girlfriend, but she discouraged me. It was XKQ who encouraged me to start making songs together, and that’s how “F*CK IT” came about, marking the beginning of our musical journey.
A. Which artists have significantly influenced your music, and what aspects of their work resonate with you?
A. Both - We admire artists like Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi, and XXXtentacion. They entered the music scene with their unique styles, not caring about conformity, and they found success by staying true to themselves.
Q. What has been both of guys biggest career highlight so far?
A. Both - Achieving 5 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify has been our biggest career highlight so far.
Q. What do you envision for yourselves and your music in the next five years?
A. Both - Traveling on tour with our friends, enjoying the experience of people listening to our music.
Q. If you both could convey one message to your fans and supporters, what would it be?
A. Both - We genuinely appreciate your support, and exciting things are on the horizon.
