Interview With FNB CHAIN: Blending Genres, Breaking Boundaries

Q. Good day, FNB CHAIN
We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?

A. I dipped my toes into music around 12-13, but it wasn’t until my first single that I committed to putting in real work.

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. My inspiration comes from various sources like Michael Jackson, M.I.A, Mac Dre, and even some old Die Antwoord. Their ability to mold a mindset into melodies fascinated me, making the unseen audible.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. My significant career highlight is the upcoming tour. Traveling city to city, show to show, connecting with fans who stand by me. I want each event to be an outlet for teens to let loose, rage, and mosh when the beat drops.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. In the next five years, I envision hitting various targets in my plan. With numerous personal goals alongside my music journey, I believe I’ll expand beyond my current cult following and delve into the mainstream scene. Anticipating the media’s reaction, I expect mixed reviews. They might dislike it initially, but the intriguing part is that they might end up pressing play again, even if just to criticize. I say, let them.

Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?

A. To my supporters: Never doubt expressing who you truly are. Your voice matters. If you discover that voice, embrace it, run with it—whether it's during your daily routine or just before you sleep. Challenges may come, but in the end, it's all just a fleeting moment.
