Q. Good day, NPG YxngKidd! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. It all began during a Youth Challenge program. Before I started recording, I was writing and rapping to myself. Eventually, some people heard my songs and liked them. After the program, during my 11th grade year, I decided to take music more seriously, and I’ve been doing it ever since.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My musical influences are Lil Boosie and the entire Trill Fam group. When I was young, I had a Trill Fam CD that I listened to religiously, and I still do to this day.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. I haven’t experienced my biggest career highlight yet, but I believe it’s on the horizon.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I see myself still fully immersed in making music.
Q. What is one message you have for your fans and supporters?
A. My message to my fans and supporters is simple: never give up on your dreams. Despite the negativity and haters you may encounter along the way, keep pushing forward. I want to express my gratitude and love to each and every one of you because without your support, I wouldn't be where I am today, making music.
