Interview With Fuse: Crafting Music with Purpose

Q. Good day, Fuse! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?

A. I always recount this story: My music journey began thanks to my cousin Trav. We were chilling, and he received a call from a girl. The entire conversation with her was in rap form. After he hung up, I was like, “Man, I gotta learn how to do that!” And from that moment on, I’ve been making music

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. Growing up, three artists influenced me the most. Firstly, Nas captivated me with his storytelling and how he weaved words together. Secondly, Canibus blew my mind with his intellectual wordplay. Lastly, Redman’s bold, animated style brought it all together for me. However, my ultimate goal is to influence others through my music.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. My journey so far has been filled with small but meaningful highlights. From packed-out shows in smaller clubs to performing for Coast 2 Coast, each experience has been a stepping stone in my music career.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. the next five years, my goal is to establish a solid reputation for myself and propel my own artists forward. I find joy in nurturing others’ growth, and I aspire to become a manager and consultant for fellow creators.

Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?

A. My message to all of you is straightforward. I hope you not only enjoy my music but also resonate with the messages and concepts I share. May they touch your soul as deeply as they’ve touched mine during creation. Keep God first, and may you all remain blessed.
