Q. Good day, Ziy! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. I got into music by writing small raps using a snowball microphone and beats my friend and I discovered on YouTube.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. I don’t really have one particular influence that drives me in this music journey, but if I had to choose, it would be A Boogie and Lil Durk. They rap about real-life experiences that I and many others can relate to. They inspired me to write about my own life and emotions, putting everything I feel onto paper and seeing where it takes me.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. The most significant achievement of my career to date has been my mixtape “Nights Alone.” It started as just an idea, and I brought it to life exactly as I envisioned it.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. I envision myself living in Miami, owning property, and leaving a lasting mark in the music industry, indefinitely.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. Before you invest your time and energy into something or someone else, prioritize loving yourself. Believe in your abilities because if you can't do that, how will you ever uncover your true inner self? How will you discover and understand who you truly are?
