Q. Good day, Hunnid Round! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I got into music on behalf of my cuzn, Lil Spook, aka Young Soda. That’s his dream—to become a rap star—but he’s currently locked up, so I had to step up and carry the torch lol.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My musical influences are the old Lil Boosie, the old Chief Keef, Lil Durk, and Starlito. The reason I like Boosie is that when he raps, it’s like he’s right there with you, going through whatever you’re going through. Chief Keef and Durk were just turnt—you get on your level, however you get on your level, and just be ready for whatever lol. And I f*** with Starlito ‘cause he hard with that wordplay, and we from the same hometown—Nashville.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. I’d say, besides my supporters holding me down, getting recognized by the music industry.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. By then, my career will have taken off—I’ma be a major superstar in the entertainment business and have generational wealth set up for my family.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. One message I have for my fans and supporters is: listen to certain things those little voices be telling you in your head, always go with your gut feeling, and invest in yourself—even if you don’t see the results right then and there.
