Reimagining Modern Sound: An Interview with TB Saga

Q. Good day,
TB Saga! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?

A. Music has always been a part of my life. I played the French horn as a child, and my sister was in choir. I’ve always had a love for music in general. It wasn’t until later, though— in high school— that I realized I wanted to get into making music, and even a little later when I wanted to pursue a career in it.

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. My music influences in this era of hip hop would definitely be artists like Quando Rondo, NBA YoungBoy, Rod Wave, and Reese Youngn.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. I haven’t had a major highlight yet, but it’s the
recognition and motivation I get from people who hear my music, talk to me about it, and encourage me to keep going.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. In five years, I see myself well off. I’ve made an extensive amount of money from being a successful independent artist and enjoy spending time investing in my fans and family.

Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?

A. A message I have to my fans and supporters is: much love— it’s very appreciated. You guys keep me from having second thoughts about my talent.
