Q. Good day, Young Rallo! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I got into music because I was born into the music industry. My parents have been musicians since the 1990s. I used to play instruments like the piano and drums. However, when I was six years old, it was my first time at the studio, and I was part of the hook. This experience completely changed my perspective on what I wanted to do when I grew up. In 2011, I started going to the studio and performing small shows with TOS. Then, in 2015, something magical happened when I linked up with Fetty Wap’s artist Oskama Esteban in the studio.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My musical influences are Gucci Mane and 50 Cent. Their big motives, especially in Paterson, NJ—just the way they carried themselves on their journey. Their work ethic in and out of the booth is outrageous.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. I’ve garnered numerous accolades throughout my career. For instance, I achieved over a million streams on SoundCloud with my collaboration with Oskama Esteban. Additionally, I signed a major label deal with Bentley Records back in 2016. Furthermore, I released a single with Chad B titled “Best Friend” that gained significant popularity in the Tri-State music scene. The song was played on popular mainstream radio stations like Hot97 and Power105, and it even had a Billboard sign in Times Square, New York City.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In the next five years, I envision myself being a significant driving force in the state. I’ll inspire others to believe that anything is possible. I’ll perform major shows at renowned festivals and go on international tours.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. I love all my fans and supporters. We’re going up, and we have a lot of music for you all. Also, don’t ever think you can’t be something in life. When you see an opportunity to learn and elevate, listen and execute. It doesn’t matter what it is; there’s a lot of money out here for everyone to eat.
