A. Honestly when it comes to trying to describe my sound, it’s hard for me because I’m still in a process of creating and I just wanna do what feels good to me long term.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. A specific song in my catalog that I feel defines who I am as an artist is my song “Girls Gone Wild.” It’s about me really getting things off my chest how I feel about myself and the world.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, it would it be both Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj is probably my favorite artist, but I rather see her as a mentor for me. Kanye West’s mind is just like out of this world, and that’s how I feel about myself.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve took in my career was moving to New York. I’m still trying to figure things out, but I feel like it was the best move. Although I haven’t quite locked in, I’m still figuring it out, and as long as I try, I’m fine.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, I would want them to know that this is just the beginning. If I took you through emotions, just imagine what I would do if I knew what I was doing.
