Small Shows, Big Dreams: An Interview With ROCINE: The Rising Artist Aiming to Take Over the Music Scene

Q. Good day,
ROCINE! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how did you get into making music?

A. I got into making music by rapping with my homies, and they kind of pushed me to keep going with it.

Q. Who would you say are your musical influences and why?

A. My influences, honestly, range from artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Trippie Redd, Young Thug, and Chief Keef—they’re like the artists I grew up on.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. My biggest career highlight, I would say, was me performing at my first show. My homie hooked me up with it. It was a small Jawn, but it’s a start.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

A. In the next five years, I see myself fully in the industry. I really feel like I can take it there with my music.

Q. What is one message you have for your fans and supporters?

A. A message I have for both my fans and supporters is that I’m going to be fully consistent. I’m taking no more breaks—I’m going full throttle.
