A. My artist name, “Numero Huit,” is the French term for the number eight, a number that was given to me one night during a solitary walk. I encountered a stranger briefly, and we had this strange, almost celestial conversation. They told me I was number eight. The moment I heard that, it resonated deeply, and ever since, I’ve carried that name.
Q. What has your journey as an artist been like up to this point?
A. My journey as an artist has been a journey of learning, consistency, and growth. Every song and every challenge has helped me become a better artist and sharpen my sound. Meeting a lot of people in different countries and environments, connecting with the crowd at live shows, and really loving the creative process of everything.
Q. What makes your music different from what listeners might hear from other artists in your genre?
A. What makes my music different is that I focus on authenticity. My music comes from real experiences, and I blend emotion, storytelling, and my own style to create something genuine. I’ve been telling stories drawn from my own life—what I’ve lived, what people around me have gone through, and what I’ve observed. I don’t chase trends; I stay rooted in real-life emotions, and when I put that into my music and share it, it truly connects.
Q. What was the moment that made you realize you wanted to pursue music seriously?
A. I always was passionate about music since I was a young kid, but what pushed me to take it seriously was the first day I was able to go into a professional studio. From that moment on, I committed myself fully to music.
Q. What message or energy are you trying to bring to listeners through your music?
A. I am trying to bring unity through my music. Let’s find love together; let’s go to war together. Let’s enjoy life. My music inspires, motivates, and connects with people. Whether they’re celebrating or going through tough times, I want them to feel understood and uplifted.
