Q. Good day, XtraKrispy! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. My journey into making music began with my fascination for AJR. Although my interest in them has waned over time, I was initially drawn to their dubstep-infused tracks. As a budding producer, their music resonated with me and inspired my own creative endeavors. I vividly recall being around the age of 13 or 14 when I embarked on this musical path, eager to explore and express myself through the world of production. It took me a while to develop an appreciation for mainstream rap music, but everything changed for me in 2017 when I stumbled upon Xxxtentacion's song "Imsippinteainyahood." Instantly, I was captivated by the raw energy and emotion in his music, and it sparked a newfound love for rap music. In particular, I was drawn to the unique sound emerging from the Florida SoundCloud scene, which resonated with me on a deep level. From that point on, I embraced rap music wholeheartedly and became immersed in the vibrant and innovative sounds of the Florida scene.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. Currently, my greatest sources of inspiration stem from a diverse range of artists. Lucki, Playboi Carti, Frank Ocean, Juice WRLD, Izaya Tiji, Lil Yachty, ASAP Rocky, and the entire Plugg movement from 2015-2019 hold significant influence over my musical journey. The distinct sound that emerged during that era was truly unparalleled, and it continues to shape my artistic vision. In particular, I find immense admiration for producers like Stoopidxool, K Swisha, and Brentrambo, who were prominent figures in the SoundCloud era and played a crucial role in defining the unique sonic landscape that resonates with me deeply.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. If I were to pinpoint my most significant career achievement so far, it would have to be my first live concert performance. Although I acknowledge that it may not have been a flawless experience, the venue itself holds immense promise and potential for future growth. This particular milestone has served as a valuable learning opportunity, inspiring me to strive for improvement and progress in my musical journey. As I look ahead, I firmly believe that this year will be a pivotal one for me, as I have gained clarity and a deep understanding of my musical aspirations.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. I envision a future where I embark on a tour, surrounded by familiar faces from my upbringing, as well as those who I will come to love and connect with through my music. While I don't necessarily aspire for overwhelming fame, my ultimate goal is to create a supportive community around the music I create. I am driven to improve my live performances, ensuring that each show is a memorable and enjoyable experience for both me and my audience. Collaborating with some of my musical idols would be an absolute dream come true, as it would allow me to learn from and work alongside those who have greatly influenced and inspired me.

A. To all my beloved fans and supporters, my current message is to persistently pursue your dreams without reservation. Keep pushing forward with unwavering determination, because one day you will achieve your aspirations, perhaps even without realizing how far you've come. Trust in your abilities, stay committed, and never underestimate the power of your own potential.
