Q. Good day, Insane Disciple! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. Since my early childhood, music has always fascinated me. Being surrounded by musicians during my upbringing played a significant role in my love for music. I even wrote my first rap verse at the age of 6 and enjoyed freestyling for fun as I grew older. However, it wasn't until my senior year in early 2018 that I started taking music seriously. A switch flipped in my mind, and I convinced myself that I could make a career out of music.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. Earl Sweatshirt, Drake, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar are the primary sources of inspiration for my music. While there are many more artists who have influenced me, naming them all would take quite some time. However, these four artists in particular hold a special place in my heart and have played a significant role in both why I create music and my deep appreciation for it.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. I would say that the most significant moment in my career thus far is likely my initial release. When I began my music journey, I spent a lot of time assisting others and working behind the scenes. Additionally, I faced numerous obstacles in my personal life that made me question whether pursuing music was the right choice. Finally, after overcoming these challenges, being able to release music on my own terms felt like a tremendous blessing.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I envision myself being recognized and respected as one of the top rappers in the underground music scene. I am confident that my writing skills will receive the recognition they deserve, and my artistic talent will be impossible to ignore. Ultimately, my hard work and dedication will speak for itself and earn me the reputation I desire.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. I want to express my gratitude to my fans and all those who support me for their presence and their patience with me. I am pleased to announce that there will be more music coming soon.
