Q. Good day, Lil’ Rose! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. It all began in 2012 with an old iPhone app called ‘I Am T-Pain 2.0.’ I discovered this app, which had instrumentals from popular songs and autotune settings. I started playfully experimenting with autotune, singing gibberish, and freestyling for hours. That’s when I realized I could be a rapper.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My top three influences are Lil Wayne, 2Pac, and Michael Jackson. Their work ethic, dedication to their craft, and pursuit of perfection inspire me. They’re like working machines always striving for excellence, and I want to be the best artist I can be.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. Performing at my hometown’s music festival was a dream come true. I went solo, rocked the crowd, and dedicated the performance to a childhood friend lost to gun violence. It was a special moment of love and remembrance.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I see myself at the top of the rap game, striving to be the best rapper of this generation. In another five years, I aim to win awards and become one of the greatest artists ever.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. Our time will come if we stick together and stay hungry for success. Once we achieve hunger, we can focus on achieving greediness. Together, we’ll rise, leave a legacy for generations, and crash the industry!
