Interview With Lo Lyfe: From Adversity to Artistry - A Journey Through Music and Influence


Q. Good day, Lo Lyfe! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?

A. Music became a part of my life during my childhood, serving as a coping mechanism for all aspects of my upbringing - the good, the bad, and the ugly. It provided me with a voice and an outlet. While in prison, it kept me grounded and served as a means to express my emotions.

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. Tupac for his storytelling ability and the principles he stood for., Drake Due to his versatility., Lil Wayne For his relentless drive and capacity to consistently produce high-quality music, King Von because his music resonates with me and he stays true to his message, Young M.A. her transparency and vulnerability,  HOV the greatest of all time.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight 
so far?

A. One of my most significant career highlights was collaborating on a song called "Who’s Next?" with the renowned artist I admired while growing up, "Hell Rell" from Dipset.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. I see myself as an established artist in five years.
