Q. Good day, K.marii! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. I’ve been into music since I was five, singing and dancing in chorus and talent shows. I started writing songs at age 12 and began recording in real time two years ago.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My musical influences are Michael Jackson, The Kid Laroi, and Rod Wave. Michael Jackson was the first artist I loved, and I used to dance to his music as a kid. I fell in love with The Kid Laroi and Rod Wave for their melodies and lyrics, which really hit your soul.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My biggest career highlights so far have been performing at showcases and having a few Billboard producers reach out to me.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. I see myself growing my fan base and touring around the world.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. I want to tell my fans and supporters to believe in themselves first, and then others will follow.
