Q. Good day, Chris Hndrixx! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. Music has always been a part of my life since my dad is an artist and my mom is a poetess. It was just a matter of time before I started exploring it on my own.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My top 3 are Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and Drake. Michael Jackson is such an icon that his influence speaks for itself. Chris Brown was the first artist I listened to on my own, thanks to my dad’s CD with him in all white and that big C belt. He’s had a huge impact on me. As for Drake, his versatility is something I really admire. I have many talents and don’t want to be confined to just one thing.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. The biggest highlight so far has been the support from fans. It’s incredible to see people knowing every word to songs I created in my room.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In 5 years, I see myself on tour in another state or in the studio creating more music for my fans.
