Q. Good day, DEANISTOXICC! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. I got into making music because, at the end of my senior year, I was a DJ and had friends who made music. They often talked about recording, and it inspired me to try creating my own songs. After I made my first track, I realized this was something I wanted to pursue.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My biggest influences are Linkin Park, XXXTENTACION, and Juice WRLD. When I was a kid, the first CD my dad bought me was “Hybrid Theory.” I remember blasting it when no one was home and singing or screaming along to every song. Chester Bennington is one of my all-time favorite people because of the inspiration he brought into my life.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. The highlight of my career so far was the first time I saw people from all over the world listening to my music. It showed me that there are people out there willing to give me a chance, which really boosted my confidence as an artist.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. I envision myself as a successful independent artist and hope to one day sign a record deal that allows me to support myself and my family.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. To my fans and supporters, I want to say: never give up on your hopes and dreams, because one day, you can make them a reality.
