Q. Good day, Expliry! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. I got into making music when I was 15 and made my first song in the closet because my mom didn’t like the idea of me cursing. The song was bad, but at the time, I knew I wanted to make music. I first started taking it seriously in 2021 and have been working to perfect my craft since then.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. Some of the artists who influenced me are Robb Bank$, Lil Peep, XXXTENTACION, Juice WRLD, Mac Miller, Wifisfuneral, and Pouya, just to name a few. These names speak for themselves in terms of artistry, versatility, and beats. These artists helped me through a lot of hard times and have had a major influence on my music and sound.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My biggest career highlight has been getting distribution with Empire and a feature with Snoop Dogg. This is only the beginning.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I see myself as a major artist, having my own label and working with other artists.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters.
A. My message to my supporters is to never give up on your dreams. Sometimes we have what we want right in front of us, and we tend to be ungrateful. Always be grateful and thank God every chance you get.
