Interview With 10Toes quizzy: The Artist Who Refuses to Slow Down

Q. Good day,
10Toes quizzy! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?

A. I got into making music through my older brother, which had me in and out of the studio at a young age. My mom was great at writing poetry, so it kind of just stuck with me.

Q. Who are your musical influences and why?

A. Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill, Lil Baby. I gotta give it to those guys—they’re what you call trendsetters, real game changers. I’ve always been big on music for the soul. When I listen to them, it makes me wanna go harder.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. The biggest highlight so far is probably being able to work with Skippa Makk.” Yall might know him as KJ Marley, Bob Marley's grandson. Growing up listening to Bob’s music and watching movies like Shottas, and then being able to get an opportunity to work with the family, is crazy.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. In the next 5 years, I see myself as an XXL Freshman and touring the world, doing what I love to do best—speaking to people through my music.

Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters.

A. One message I have for my supporters and fans is to never give up. Keep going when you’re against all odds. Don’t ever let nobody tell you, you “can’t.
