Q. Good day, CaliBoyZay! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I got into music because my younger brother, CEOjay, inspired me to be an artist. I was infatuated with his sound and the passion he put into his craft. I guess you can say he passed the baton.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My musical influences are K Camp and Rod Wave because I love the emotion that they put into their music. You can feel the passion and the raw emotion.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My best career highlight as an artist was starting my music career. I understand things start small, and the sky is the limit from here. I just hope my music can touch souls and heal hearts.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. Where do I see myself in 5 years? I see myself living out my dream of being a top artist, breaking billboards, and giving back to my community.
Q. What is one message you have for your fans and supporters?
A. One message for my fans and supporters: always walk in your light. Aim to be the brightest star in any room you step foot in. Be courageous, adventurous, take risks, and live with no regrets.
