Q. Good day, 1globalboy! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I grew up in a church choir—already had it in me to do music. But what really made me go with it was when I first got in the studio. Since then, I’ve been on go.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My music influence is Hunxho, an artist from ATL. If you haven’t heard, get into him. But real life though—I can just relate. Why? Because some of the same things he’s putting down, I already experienced or went through.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My biggest highlight so far was getting outside of my shell and seeing outside more, for real. Getting into music more, meeting real fans, and a couple of big artists that’s in the game. Just seeing them—haven’t had any face-to-face conversations yet, but I most definitely would love to.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I see myself way bigger and farther than I am now. I see myself in rooms I never thought I’d walk into. Multi-billionaire in the rap game—I’m not coming to play, I’m here to stay.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. My message to my fans and supporters is, If it wasn’t for y’all, I wouldn’t be here. Y’all keep me going. New music on the way. Album in the works as we speak—“Who is Globalboy?” Stay tuned.
