Q. Good day, Friskk! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I grew up watching my uncle do music, and when he realized I was interested, I wanted to f*** with it. He took me under his wing—you know what I’m saying—showed me the ropes, and I just got started from there. He was the first one to put me in the studio for real, so shout out to Ronnie Vegas.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. Some of my biggest music influences are Young Nudy, Herb, Soulja, Rich Homie Quan—and the list goes on
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My biggest career highlight so far, I’d have to say, is my time in New York.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I see myself already established in the game, touring, and having artists on my own label with artists under me.
