Q. Good day, b45ive! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. I got into making music from the age of five till now, which is 19. My dad stayed freestyling on trips from Louisiana to Houston, back and forth, different beats. My 4th grade teacher taught me about free-verse poems, and I started from there—free-styling with my second oldest brother to making my own music on iPhone headphones, then advanced to FL Studio from Bandlab.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My music influences are my pops, Juice Wrld for one, Young Thug, then Lil Uzi Vert. Juice Wrld could flow on a beat like waves on top of your head after removing a Durag. Lil Uzi Vert always gave that thug-but-rock vibe—stayed turnt no matter what. Young Thug gave punk rock vibes, could rock out or speak deep for real, which brought me to peace when I first heard him.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. A notable career highlight I had was being noticed by Tkey Pops, as in Lil Tony Pops, reacting to my story when I posted music. Also, 1300Saint liking my story, which is crazy. I usually get noticed by big rappers liking my music—just was waiting for someone big to hit me up, until my manager hit me with a big offer I couldn’t deny. Appreciate it forever.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I see myself living lavish, no worries, family having no worries, and God in all of our hearts still. I see myself and my manager changing the music scene—shout to him for giving me this opportunity to show the world greatness.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. A message I have for my fans and supporters from now and forever on would be: When you’re doing something you love and have real talent at, never let that talent go that God has blessed you with. Love God. Love the talent He gave you. Work hard and always stay humble. One more thing: watch out for snakes. Sometimes they pretend to be on your side when you’re down, working hard, because they feel like you’re gonna make it. But when you do, they start to ask for the world. When you were down, they were just by your side for the spotlight and not helping you master your craft. Stay humble, watch out for snakes, and always put God first. Love God and all my fans and supporters.
