Q. Good day, Little Xa! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is How did you get into making music?
A. My pops was big on music; he was rapping with his homeboys when I was around, and it took off from there. At the age of 10, I started freestyling while my mom recorded me. Met one of my homies that goes by Yousupremze, started making a buzz, and it started pushing me to go harder and take it serious.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My influence in music is my Dad and Summrs. My pops would be one of the first ones to have a new CD album and would start explaining how the beats were made, really listen to the rhythm. The reason I include Summrs is because Summrs has his flows to where he doesn’t just rap—he does harmonies/singing. And that’s where I got my style and flow from.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My biggest career highlight so far was when I posted a snippet of my song called “Joker” on TikTok—it hit 18k views in like two days. Made me realize I have what it takes to make it in the industry.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In 5 years, I see myself on tour making money on the road. Everywhere I go, I hear everybody playing my music. And I want to be a homeowner, buying and selling houses on the side.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. One message I have for my fans is to never give up, no matter what people say or no matter if you’re feeling down or going through something in your life. Just know everything is happening for a reason. And it’s God that’s letting you go through the struggles so you can get to where you need or wanna be in life. So keep pushing and keep going.
