An Interview With KC: The Artist Freestyling His Way Across Every Genre

Q. Good day, KC! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?

A. I would describe my sound to someone who has never heard my music as similar to Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi Vert, and Polo G.

Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?

A. A song in my catalog that would honestly describe me as an artist is “Ringing bells,” which will be featured on my album that’s dropping very soon.

Q. Have you ever produced your own tracks?

A. Yes, I record my own songs — I’m both an audio engineer and a musician.

Q. How do you approach writing lyrics — are your songs more personal, fictional, or a mix of both?

A. Honestly, my process for writing lyrics starts with freestyling whatever I’m feeling — that raw emotion shapes every track.

Q. Are there any genres or styles you haven’t explored yet but want to experiment with in the future?

A. I don’t stick to one genre — I’ve explored and made songs across a wide range of styles.
