Q. Good day, iTaLi! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound as divine energy mixed with trap soul. Think Future’s melodies, Wayne’s wordplay, Thug’s unpredictability, Carti’s bounce, Uzi’s spirit, and Yeat’s futuristic vibes — all in one. It’s music you can turn up to, but it’s also layered with meaning and intention.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. A specific song in my catalog that I feel defines who I am as an artist would be my record I got out called Lightz Out. It’s not out yet, but when it drops, people are gonna understand exactly who I am as an artist. It’s raw ambition, hunger, and vision all in one track. It feels cinematic — like you’re hearing somebody step into their destiny. That song is me. My i$HWET, Luxxo, is on the track with me.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I had the chance to collaborate with any artist, living or dead, outside of GOD himself, it would have to be Future. He’s the architect of the sound we all draw from today, and working with him would be like connecting with the blueprint. Wayne’s right there too because he showed us how limitless bars can really be. Either of them would push me even further into greatness.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far has been betting everything on my sound. I could’ve chased trends, tried to copy what was already hot, but instead I doubled down on being different — creating the iTaLi sound. At first, it feels like a gamble, but I learned that being yourself is the real cheat code. Once people catch on, they don’t just like you — they believe in you.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want them to know this isn’t just music — it’s divine motion. Every track is me pouring my life, my lessons, and my spirit into sound. When you press play, you’re stepping into my universe. So open your mind, open your heart, open your eyez — and watch what happens.
