From Taking Risks to Making Hits: An Interview With Wi$3

Q
. Good day, Wi$3!
We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?

A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as very different from others. It’s more for the females that want to shake some a**, and it’s very upbeat—it brings back the genre of artists like Uncle Luke.

Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?

A. A specific song in my catalog that I feel defines who I am as an artist is My track ‘Tsunami.’ It would best describe me and the mood I set.

Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

A. If I had the opportunity to collaborate with any artist, living or dead, I would love to collaborate with Future.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?

A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far was putting my music first and not letting a job stop my dreams. I learned that the more you wait on your dreams, the more time you’re wasting.

Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?

A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want them to know that my music is for girls who like to dance and have fun.
