Q. Good day, Lit Ross! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as a heartbroken rockstar from the dark spot of the trenches.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. A song that currently defines me the most as an artist is “I Didn’t Do It,” because it explains everything about me and what it means to live the life I live.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, it would be NBA YoungBoy — no one else. That’s my Dream collaboration and I’m going do it just watch.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far, was when I first transitioned into more rock and vibey music rather than Drill. It was a huge risk just from the fact of gaining a certain crowd for drill, making that a name for myself, to put out something totally different from what gained that crowd’s attention, not knowing if it would hit like that drill did.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would you want them to know, regardless of what they like, I’m truly sure there’s a song you’re gonna dig.
