Q. Good day, Tyler Rose! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how did you get into making music?
A. When I started out making music, it wasn’t planned or forced, it happened naturally. The second I started singing and rapping, I knew I was gonna do something big with it someday, even if that day wasn’t back then. Consistency is key, and it’s better once you remember what you need to know to get to where you wanna go—words I live by.
Q. Who would you say are your musical influences and why?
A. I always looked up to serval musicians such as, XXXTentacion and Post Malone for their creation process and for showing people you don’t need to take it so seriously; it needs to feel free to create, and you don’t need to have everything to make a good song.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. My biggest career highlight so far is definitely learning the production process better and not giving up with music no matter what anyone said.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. I hope that in the next five years I’ll be talking to everyone from the stage, giving life lessons through my music, and spreading knowledge for music lovers and people who want to do it.”
Q. What is one message you have for your fans and supporters?
A. My message to my fans and supporters, or even to anyone who is struggling mentally in life, is: ‘Keep your chin up, and don’t rely on anyone for inner peace but yourself, or you’ll be destructive to yourself and the people you love. Love the people you need with a passion, and don’t give up.’”
