Q. Good day, Certtified! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before, as a blend of raw emotion, street perspective, and melodic energy. I balance real-life storytelling with music people can ride to, think to, or turn up to. Whether it’s pain, motivation, loyalty, or love, I try to make music that feels honest and relatable while still carrying strong energy.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. When it comes to a specific song in my catalog that I believe defines who I am as an artist, one of the songs that I would reference is “Counted Me Out.” The record represents everything I stand for — perseverance, belief in self, and proving people wrong through consistency. The response showed me that my story reaches people beyond my hometown, and that’s when I realized the music was bigger than just me.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, it would be Tupac Shakur because of his honesty, fearlessness, and deep connection with people. His music wasn’t just entertainment — it had meaning and truth behind it. He made people feel seen, and that’s something I aim to do too, in my own way and generation.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far was betting on myself before anyone else did. Putting money, time, and belief into my career without guarantees taught me discipline and patience. I learned that consistency wins long-term, and confidence is built by showing up when things are uncertain.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want the people to know that my music is real. Nothing is manufactured. It comes from lived experiences, mistakes, growth, and dreams. When you press play, you’re hearing someone who’s still building and still believing.
