Q. Good day, VVS Veezy! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as rich.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. A specific song in my catalog that I feel defines who I am as an artist is Out the Mud. It defines me—it’s my story and how I came up in life.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, I would love to collaborate with Drake because he is my favorite artist. I’m sure I could learn a lot from him.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far was when I moved to Dallas, Texas, by myself to get my career moving. I met some real individuals I could never forget, and I learned that God is in control. If you acknowledge Him, He will open doors you couldn’t imagine.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want them to know that I have a crazy story. I hope that I can touch people and fix their mindsets to be greater in life and that no matter what you go through, you don’t give up.
