Turning His Life Into a Legacy: An Interview With Musician Richvatican

Q. Good day, Richvatican! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how did you get into making music?

A. I got into music by turning my real life into sound—pain, hustle, losses, and ambition. Music became my way to vent, tell my story, and motivate myself to go harder.

Q. Who would you say are your musical influences and why?

A. My musical influences are artists like NBA YoungBoy, Iayze, Yungeen Ace, and several underground Atlanta and Jacksonville artists. They influence me because they speak raw truth, mix pain with melody, and make music you can really feel.

Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

A. My biggest career highlight so far is building a growing fanbase that connects with my story and seeing my music start to move people, even without major support yet.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A. In the next 5 years, I see myself as a well-known artist with a solid catalog, major features, successful tours, and financial freedom—putting on for my city and my people.

Q. What is one message you have for your fans and supporters?

A. One message I have for both my fans and supporters is to never give up on yourself. If you came from nothing, keep grinding—your moment is coming. I appreciate every person who believes in me before the world does.
