A. I’d describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as authentic, original, and just raw.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist?
A. If I could pick one song to describe myself as an artist, I’d have to say “Real Motion” because I’m really from the trenches. I started with nothing and made something of myself, and that right there is classified as “Real Motion.”
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist alive or dead, I’d say it’d have to be Tupac or Biggie. The reason being is that I grew up listening to the old school, and when I first started music, I had a ’90s kind of style vibe, and I feel like the collaboration would’ve been historic.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far is driving 60 hours for a 2-minute TikTok video with a viral influencer. It wasn’t ideal by any means, but an opportunity like that doesn’t come twice, so I just took the chance and made it happen.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview were the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want them to know to always chase their dreams and never give up because you never know where you might end up.
