A. I’d describe my sound as original. It doesn’t sound like anyone else — it sounds like me. Every track is a product of whatever emotions I’m feeling in that moment or whatever I’m going through in life. My music is basically my therapy sessions and inner thoughts laid over instrumentals.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist?
A. One song that really defines who I am as an artist is “Hide No Seek” off my tape Dropped A 8, which I released earlier this year. Honestly, even before the verse starts or the beat drops, the intro already tells listeners what to expect because they know what I do — make great music. That song feels like me looking back at my catalog and telling my fans we’ve got another one that can’t miss.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, Michael Jackson would be my top pick without debate. It’s Michael Jackson—the King of Pop and one of the greatest artists to ever live. Just being in his presence would be an honor, but making a song together would be unimaginable. For living artists, it would definitely be Lil Wayne. He’s been my favorite rapper since I was a kid and, in my opinion, the real G.O.A.T. He heavily inspires me and my music, so collaborating with him would be legendary.
Q. What has been the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career was simply starting. I had to get over the fear of “What if people don’t like it?” and replace it with “What if they do?” What if people show up to the shows? What if the music reaches 100 million streams? Since releasing music around 2019–2020, I’ve received nothing but love. I’ve even been recognized by celebrities I never thought would notice me, and most importantly, I’ve genuinely enjoyed the journey.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I’d want them to know I appreciate every single listen, even if it’s only for 30 seconds. I want people to really listen—read between the lines, catch the bars that might go over your head, and truly feel the music. Step into my world and see what it’s really like to be ATM. Share the music; tell a friend to tell a friend, and if you hear something you’d sound hard on too, hit me up because I’m always down to collaborate. I love all my supporters and even my haters too. Whether you like the music or not, it’s all love.
