Q. Good day, imybandz! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. My sound can best be described as “feel-good fun music.” I usually make music that I would personally listen to, and I don’t limit myself to just one genre. I like to experiment and challenge myself by doing a variety of different styles.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist?
A. One song in my catalog, “Graduated,” really represents who I am as an artist because it shows how I can take real-life experiences and turn them directly into my music and creative expression. It also reflects my personal growth and the journey I’ve been on through my music. This song is a good example of my style and how I connect my life to what I create.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. When it comes to inspiration and potential collaborations, I honestly can’t choose between the two, so I would say Pasto Flocco and Plaqueboymax. Pasto Flocco was the first artist who really got me into underground music back in 2020, and his early sound played a big role in shaping my own direction. Plaqueboymax has also been a major influence on me career-wise, and being from New Jersey as well makes it feel even more natural—I feel like we would connect well and create something impactful together.
Q. What has been the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. One of the biggest risks I’ve taken in my career has been not staying consistent when things were going well. From that experience, I learned not to wait for the “right time” to pursue what I want, especially when it comes to building a career in music. It made me realize how important consistency and discipline are and how quickly opportunities can slow down if you step away for too long.
