Q. Good day, Zavey! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how did you come up with your artist name, and what does it represent to you?
A. My artist name was given to me by one of my ex-girlfriends. The name stuck with me, and it represents creativity.
Q. What has your journey as an artist been like up to this point?
A. My journey as an artist has been nothing but hard work. I’ve been making music for a long time, and I would say it's finally paying off.
Q. What makes your music different from what listeners might hear from other artists in your genre?
A. What makes my music different from other artists is that, unlike other artists, my music is actually jamming because I took the time to perfect my craft, and while doing so, I’m still getting better and better every day.
Q. What was the moment that made you realize you wanted to pursue music seriously?
A. The moment I realized I should give music, I shot happened when I first heard Tupac Shakur's "Me Against the World" album. That was the moment when I started thinking about music as something I could take seriously and possibly pursue as a career.
Q. What message or energy are you trying to bring to listeners through your music?
A. Through my music, I want to promote positivity, thought-provoking substance, and motivation to be successful.
