Q. Good day, Hbk Nola! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. After my brother passed away about three years ago, I started getting deeper into making music, though I first began at 14, inspired by listening to Lil Wayne and trying to create my own tracks. As I grew older, I started listening to Polo G a lot, and his music really made me open up and express myself more through my music.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My biggest influences are Polo G, NoCap, Hotboii, Lil Wayne, 2Pac, and a few others. These artists stood out to me because they stayed true to themselves and their roots, never faking anything to rise up. They kept grinding and always spoke real talk in their music, and that’s something I admire.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. It means the world to me that I even have the chance to make music, and that people actually enjoy it. Seeing so many people wanting more from me is incredible.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I want to be traveling, playing my music for people who need it, and performing in front of thousands of supporters.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. My message is to keep pushing forward no matter what, and always stay true to yourself.
