Q. Good day, Slatt! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is What made you want to become a musician?
A. I’ve been making music since I was young; it’s in my blood, you could say.
Q. Who are your musical influences and why?
A. My musical influences include Meek Mill, Jadakiss, Future, Lil Durk, PnB Rock, A Boogie, and Nav. I connect with a lot of different artists, and I feel like I can relate to their music. When I create, I’m usually in the zone, treating the process like a blueprint—starting with the topic and then building out the verses.
Q. What has been your biggest career highlight so far?
A. I’ve done a few performances around the city in small lounges and such.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A. In five years, I don’t just see myself as rich; I want to give back. If I blow up and become a mainstream artist, I’d make sure to give people a fair chance.
Q. What Is One Message You Have for Your Fans and Supporters?
A. My only question for my fans and supporters is, are y’all feeling my music or not? And are you ready for these videos?
