Versatility Meets Passion: An Interview With Music Artist Braylon J

Q. Good day, Braylon J!
We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?

A. My music is very versatile. I am an artist that is always looking to try different genres and cultures. I’m all about new experiences that help me grow in my art and in my personal life.

Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?

A. I feel like my song “Vent to the Booth” defines me as an artist because it talks about my personal life and struggles I went through, and the art form itself.

Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

A. If I could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, I would want to collaborate with Damian Marley because he’s a part of my culture. He’s an example of someone versatile, in my opinion.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?

A. The biggest risk I took was investing thousands of dollars in my career, but I understand that in this industry—or most industries—it takes money to make money. But I’m not in it only for the money. I just have a passion to inspire and heal the world through music.
