Q. Good day, OMB Tae! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as a very unique and revitalizing sound that makes me stand out from the rest. My ability to experiment with unusual sounds and blend diverse genres together flawlessly.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest risk I’ve ever taken in my career so far was actually making music. I learned to stay down, grow my own fan base, and not just look for attention from other famous artists.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, I would want them to know that I work hard, I put in so much work, I’m dedicated, I’m hungry, and I’m always working non-stop.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. A specific song in my catalog that I feel defines who I am as an artist is called “Heart of Stone” which is currently unreleased. It defines who I am as a person because I’m talking about my entire lifestyle in the song, going through trauma as a kid.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be?
A. If I could collaborate with an artist, living or dead, I would want to work with G Herbo.
